If you are planning on carrying out building work you may require planning permission.

Work that may not require permission
If you are only making small alterations you may not require permission. Our helpdesk service is unable to provide a formal determination on whether or not work will require planning permission. This can be obtained by submitting an application for a certificate of lawfulness.
Planning privacy notice
Our planning privacy notice sets out what happens to comments submitted as part of the planning process. For planning applications, your

will be published alongside your comment on the planning portal once a decision is made on the application.
