We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail‑focused individual to join our Cleaning Team at the Royal Commonwealth Pool. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy practical work, take pride in high standards and want to be part of a supportive team. This is a part-time position working 15 hours per week over Saturday and Sunday.

What might a day in this role look like?

  • Deliver great customer service and respond effectively to enquiries.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the facility, including poolside, changing rooms, toilets, floors, windows and surrounding areas.  
  • Carry out litter picking and waste disposal to keep the site safe and presentable. 
  • Complete daily task sheets, restock cleaning supplies and report any defects or issues. 
  • Follow COSHH, health and safety, and emergency procedures at all times.

What qualifications/skills are required?

  • Previous experience in a cleaning, leisure or customer-facing role.
  • A strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleaning standards.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and deal with customers in a calm, professional manner.
  • An understanding of Health & Safety requirements and the ability to follow procedures.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic IT and numeracy skills to complete simple records and reports accurately.
