Edinburgh's Licensing Board
The Licensing Board is responsible for regulating the sale of alcohol to the public and certain gambling activities.
The Licensing Board does this by issuing alcohol licences and betting and gambling permits.
Festival period 2018 - Extended hours policy
The board's festival extended hours period operates from 3 to 27 August 2018.
Premises with festive seasonal variations in their operating plans may trade for an additional two hours added to the terminal hour from Friday 3 August, with the last extra two hours on Monday 27 August.
Any other premises seeking additional hours during the festivals period would have to submit applications for extended hours in the usual way.

The Board considered, and approved, the terms of a Financial Statement showing income and expenditure for the 2016/17 financial year at its meeting on 4 December 2017.
