Home Energy Scotland
Home Energy Scotland is a free and impartial advice service funded by the Scottish Government to help people stay warm in their homes for less. Their advisors can give energy saving advice that will help reduce your energy use and save money on your bills. They can also check if you’re eligible for any grants and funding, such as the Warmer Homes Scotland programme which is funded by the Scottish Government to make energy efficiency improvements to your home, which will help save money on your energy bills.

Fuel Bank Foundation
The Fuel Bank Foundation can offer advice for people struggling to pay their energy bills or top up their prepaid meter.

Edinburgh Fire Fund
This is a dedicated fund that can help residents in Edinburgh recover from the impact of a fire. Applicants must be in receipt of income-related benefits or earn less than a living wage and not have a valid house contents insurance policy. The fund can help replace household contents destroyed by fire or smoke damage. The application must be completed online and verified by a professional from a recognised third party e.g. housing officer or support worker. The fund is not designed for crisis funding.

Right There – Emergency Accommodation
A Scottish charity working to prevent people from becoming homeless. They offer emergency accommodation, supported housing for young people at risk of homelessness and short-term housing, including housing support and a rent deposit scheme that removes the barrier of upfront rent deposits.
