Edinburgh is proud to host the Knife Angel as part of its national tour to raise awareness of violence and knife crime. It has travelled to over 50 cities and towns across the United Kingdom and will be at the Kirkgate at the bottom of Leith Walk from 1 to 30 September 2026.
While the Knife Angel is in Edinburgh, the City of Edinburgh Council, Police Scotland, Places for People Scotland and other partners will be working with schools, businesses and communities to raise awareness of the dangers of carrying knives and the impact of violence.
