- Inspire and support your team to deliver exceptional service every time
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations
- Motivate, and supervise front-of-house staff during service
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues efficiently
- Drive team performance to meet sales and operational targets
- Build strong relationships with internal teams
- Work collaboratively with the bar team and kitchen during busy shifts
- Participate in restaurant events and special functions as needed
- Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction
- Lead by example - hands-on, approachable, and always focused on the guest.
What qualifications/skills are required?

- Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the UK
- Ability to work on-site at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh for every shift
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including on the weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in hospitality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for Italian cuisine and delivering outstanding guest experiences
