What might a day in this role look like?

  • Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets
  • Process invoices, receipts, and expense claims in accordance with company policies
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements regularly to maintain financial integrity
  • Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks
  • Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents, both digital and physical
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support audit preparations
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial procedures and internal controls.

What qualifications/skills are required?

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is desirable but not essential; relevant internships or training will be considered favourably
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is advantageous
  • Good numerical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Right to work in the UK.
