What might a day in this role look like?

• Prepare ingredients and assist with mise en place
• Cook and plate dishes during service following recipes and quality standards
• Work closely with the Chef de Partie and kitchen team
• Ensure consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties.

What qualifications/skills are required?

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our team. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with fresh ingredients, and want to grow your culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen, we’d love to hear from you. You have a can-do attitude, and you are willing to learn. From prepping mise en place to putting out dishes, you do it cleanly and efficiently. You love to watch our guests walk away happy. You’re very driven by fresh local food and also driven by learning and excitement to create memorable cuisine for a great guest experience each and every day. 

• Current right to work in the UK
• 1-2 years’ experience in a 5* hotel or restaurant environment preferred
• A hardworking team player with a passion for food
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a professional kitchen
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Good communication and a positive attitude
