Lauriston Castle to Cramond

Lauriston Castle was built in the 16th century. The large grounds of the castle include woodlands and a Japanese garden.

Silverknowes and Cramond beaches look out on the Firth of Forth. There are plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery. On a clear day, you will be able to see all the way to Fife!

There is plenty to explore in Cramond Village, including Cramond Roman Fort, Cramond Kirk and the picturesque Cramond Falls.

Flat pathways around most of Lauriston Castle grounds. Areas of the woodland grounds can be soft and uneven.

Wide and flat promenade along Silverknowes and Cramond beaches. The beaches are a mix of sand and stones and can be uneven.

Pavements throughout Cramond village. Some steep hills.
