Assembly Festival is longest running curated multi-venue operator of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, bringing much-loved and fresh-faced entertainers to the Fringe for over 40 years. Annually, we programme a leading line-up of over 200 productions, filled with the top talents of the festival, enjoyed by an audience of over half a million.

Environment: 

In 2025 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, a total of 868 artists came from 28 countries to perform with Assembly Festival at the world's largest arts festival. Our programme featured a total of 4,396 performances, with over 473,000 tickets being issued to 246 shows. They were supported by a team of over 650 Assembly Festival staff, all of whom were paid at least the UK real Living Wage. From George Street to George Square, we're back for 2026 with a programme packed with the best of comedy, theatre, music, dance, circus, children's shows and more across the city. The Festival runs from 5 - 31 August.
