2023 to 2024 pay award - updated 22 December 2023
Stage one of the pay award is effective from 1 April 2023 to 31 December 2023
- Salary points below £80,000 will be increased by 5%
- Salary points above £80,000 will be increased by £4,000
This element of the 2023 to 2024 pay award was paid to colleagues in scope on Thursday 27 April 2023.
Stage two of the pay award is effective from 1 January 2024 to 31 July 2024
- Salary points below £80,000 will increase by 2%
- Salary points above £80,000 will increase by £1,600
This element of the 2023 to 2024 pay award will be paid to colleagues in scope on Thursday 25 January 2024.
- The salaries quoted are full-time equivalent salaries.
- Pay awards will be pro-rated for those colleagues working on a part-time basis.

Please note: Our Payroll colleagues need to carry out a large amount of work to update our systems to ensure that the new payments are processed on time. 2022 to 2023 Pay award
From 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023
- Salary points below £80,000 increased by 7%
- Salary points above £80,000 increased by £5,600
The 2022 to 2023 pay award was retrospectively paid to colleagues in scope on Thursday 27 April 2023.
