Changes to National Insurance contributions
The rate of National Insurance (NI) contribution changes in January 2024.
From 6 January 2024
The main rate of employee Class 1, NI contributions will reduce by two percentage points, from 12% to 10%.
- This change affects colleagues with earnings over the threshold of £12,570.
- These changes will be implemented in January 2024.
