Each year we incorporate feedback from a survey into our new menus. Last year's survey showed 82% of parents rated our menu as good or excellent.

Food for Life is a nationally recognised scheme set up by the Soil Association to improve standards in the food we eat. Edinburgh schools received the bronze award in 2011 and have been reaccredited each year. This means all our school lunches

  • are nutritious
  • are seasonal
  • have low food miles
  • use local suppliers
  • do not contain unnecessary additives.

The cost of a school meal deal is currently £2.50 in primary and £3.00 in secondary.
