Dance, music or football for talented pupils
We offer specialist schools for talented pupils. This allows pupils to receive specialist tuition alongside the normal curriculum.
Entry to these schools is by audition only.
The City of Edinburgh Music School
Specialist music education is offered to primary and secondary pupils. We cater for all instruments and styles.

The City of Edinburgh Dance school
Dance education is offered to P6, P7 and S1 pupils. Pupils will study various styles of dance, as well as dance history and appreciation.
Football Performance Schools
Football tuition is offered to P7 pupils, boys and girls, and runs from S1 to S4.
Football Performance Academy
The Hibernian Community Foundation delivers specialised programmes in schools, including the Football Performance Academy based at Broughton High School.
