The committee report that was planned to go to the committee meeting on 10 February is now expected to go to the 12 May committee instead. Officers have advised committee members that it is not possible to produce the report for February due to the level of detail and information requested for the report.
The report will outline a wider range of options which may include, if feasible, phased works, reconsideration of the full scope of the 2025 Building Condition Survey, more detailed cost estimates for a long-term maintenance plan, potential grant funding sources, details of a possible demolition strategy, and alternative approaches such as a phased Council divestment.

During discussion at the Housing, Homelessness and Fair Work Committee on 2 December, it was agreed that a further report will be brought to the next committee meeting on 10 February 2026, however .
This report will set out a wider range of options in partnership with co-owners. These may include, if feasible, phased works, reconsideration of the full scope of the 2025 Building Condition Survey, estimated costs for a long-term maintenance plan, potential grant funding sources, details of a possible demolition strategy, and alternative approaches such as a phased Council divestment.

On 2 December, we will present a report to councillors on the Housing, Homelessness and Fair Work Committee outlining options for the future of Westfield Court. Councillors will consider the options and recommendations when they meet on 2 December. No decisions have been made yet and the report will be available on our website from 21 November
