Timescales and updates
We will be keeping residents updated by newsletters and events. Look out for newsletters in the post. We will also keep these webpage up to date with the latest information.
We’re still at a very early stages of the process no decisions have been made. We want to make sure that all owners are included in the decision-making process as we move forward.
However this is an outline timeline for the next steps:
2024 - 2025
- Detailed surveys for the block carried out.
- Expert consultants prepared detailed building condition survey report.
June /July 2025
- Final copy of the building condition report, with recommendations and high-level cost estimates, received by the Council and shared with owners and residents.
- Engagement session with all residents to answer any questions about the report.
- Works beginning to communal areas to improve fire safety across the block. Works due to complete mid-October, however this is subject to change.
Summer / Autumn 2025
- Further engagement sessions planned to discuss next steps and actions arising from the building condition survey report.
- Following initial engagement and discussions with other owners in the block voting will begin on the preferred next steps.
