Data Protection Officer
COVID-19 update
As a result of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, Council services are subject to disruption and change. During this time, the Council will continue to process your personal data fairly, lawfully and transparently. Where the Council is introducing new ways of working, it will only do so where it is satisfied that appropriate measures are in place to protect your information rights. The Information Commissioner’s Office has published guidance for data subjects about COVID-19 which may be of interest to you. This can be accessed on the data commissioners website.
Please note, in light of the current extraordinary times, some data protection requests may take longer to respond to than the statutory timescales allow. We will keep applicants updated around the progress of their request and ask for your patience in the circumstances.
