Intercultural Youth

Intercultural Youth Scotland's mental health service offers culturally informed counselling and mentoring with a team of therapists who understand how racism affects mental health and have experience around racial trauma. If you are aged 12 to 25 years and identify as a black person or a person of colour, you or a trusted adult can self-refer.

Aims to support and improve mental health and wellbeing across Edinburgh for young people aged from 12 to 25 years and want to talk about anything. If you are a parent or carer, you can refer your child to the service as well as find out about support available for you across the city.

Pilton Youth and Children’s Project

One-to-one support for ages five to 18 years

This one-to-one support offers a safe space to explore worries and set achievable goals, such as building confidence or having more positive friendships. Support is on weekdays, usually in school or at the Pilton Youth and Children’s Project centre.
