Care experienced young people

For young people who are leaving or recently left our care, we want to make sure that you are supported to find appropriate, sustainable accommodation.

We want you to have a successful transition to independent living and know that this requires support and preparation. Your allocated worker may have spoken to you about your options and our throughcare team can support you through the process of finding and bidding for accommodation.

You will be awarded Exceptional Housing Need priority and be assisted to create a Pathway Plan.

Our housing options protocol for care leavers report outlines our strategy to assist care experienced young people to secure accommodation.
