A coach friendly city
We are working with the industry and stakeholders to achieve Coach Friendly city status for Edinburgh.
Gaining CPT's Coach Friendly accreditation is a valuable way to both support coach operators, our city and all who live here or visit it.
Recognising positive actions
Reducing emissions
We have partnered with ECO Stars to help fleet operators improve their efficiency, reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Email Eco Stars for free support
To help us reduce air pollution and the impact of harmful emissions on health, we ask coaches to avoid engine idling by switching off their engines, wherever possible.
Road user awareness training
We are encouraging coach operators to sign up for free accredited driver Certificate of Competency (CPC) courses. Both minibuses and coaches may apply. Email Cycling Scotland for availability
