Coach routes, drop off and pick up
You can generally access locations in the city centre for coach drop-off and pick-up.
- Use dedicated Coach drop off and pick up and parking bays wherever possible
- Coaches are not permitted to to park on pavements and penalties will be issued where they are incorrectly parked.
- Where dedicated parking is not available, such as yellow lines, coaches must not drop off and pick up at a single location for more than two minutes
- Shut off your engines wherever possible to reduce the harmful impacts of idling.
In the future, we are looking to introduce restrictions on some streets that may affect access and the routes you can take. We will keep you informed of any proposals.
