Apply for an apprenticeship
We advertise our apprenticeships on the Edinburgh Guarantee website and myjobscotland website. For Foundation Apprenticeships you should speak to your school.
When applying for one of our apprenticeships follow these steps.
- Read the application pack carefully, this includes the
- job description
- employee specification.
- Make sure you are eligible to apply.
- Take your time and think about your answers.
- If you are not sure about something or have a problem filling out the form, contact the recruiting manager or a member of our apprenticeship team
- Make sure that you tell us in your application how you meet the essential and desirable criteria that are relevant to you
- Answer all the questions. If something is not applicable to you, tell us that. Don’t leave the section blank
- Get someone else to read your application before you submit it. They may think of something you forgot or may spot a mistake you missed
- Make sure you submit your application before the closing date, don’t leave it to the last minute!
