What the community has told us
The site was previously looked at in 2018 and was subject to community consultation. Progress was stalled at the time for reasons including Covid restrictions and resourcing limitations. Although we still have the results of this exercise on record and it is likely that responses will be similar, it is essential that we review and re-consult stakeholders and interested parties to ensure that the community views are up to date and reflect the current situation.
Davidson's Mains and Silverknowes Association (DMSA) has contacted the council outlining ongoing concern and their wish to see the safety of the junction improved. They are keen to ensure that any negative effects on the local environment are minimised.
