Overview
The City of Edinburgh Council provides a range of Economic Development Services because the law says that we must do this.
The services we provide are in the following areas:
- Services to support economic research
- Services to promote Edinburgh as a economic base and to support the development of relations to improve Edinburgh’s economy
- Support and advice to business and potential business operators to encourage business development and sustainability
- Provision of training opportunities
To deliver these Economic Development Services we need to collect, store, use, share and dispose of personal information. This is known as data processing.
