The City of Edinburgh Council provides a range of services relating to Crematoria and Cemeteries because the law says that we must do this.
The services we provide are in the following areas:
- Selling plots within cemeteries and maintaining cemeteries in Edinburgh
- Maintaining records of cremations and burials which take place in Edinburgh
- Maintaining cemeteries grounds
To deliver these services we need to collect, store, use, share and dispose of personal information. This is known as data processing.
