Residents’ permit holder dispensations
Over the years, parking dispensations have been put in place which allowed some permit holders to park in other zones or parking places.
We wrote to permit holders to advise that all dispensations, such as those above were due to be withdrawn.
In response to concerns from some residents, Councillors requested more time to consider the matter and have decided that these should remain in place until they can be reviewed as part of the Council's Parking Action plan.
As a result, all dispensations will now remain in place until further notice.
The dispensations that will remain in place are those that allowed permit holders to park in
- other streets or zones in response to local circumstances
- pay and display parking places within their own zone.
