The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) proactively supports delivery of the UK government’s five national missions: pushing power out to communities everywhere, with a specific focus to help kickstart economic growth and promoting opportunities in all parts of the UK.
The fund is distributed through local authorities and has run since 2022. In the financial year 2025/2026, Edinburgh was allocated a total of £4,065,562.
Funds are distributed across three Investment Priorities:
- Community and Place
- Supporting Local Business
- People and Skills
Funds were commissioned through a competitive application process which took place in 2022.
We work in partnership with Capital City Partnership to manage the delivery of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund programme. Capital City Partnership is one of our arms-length organisations, working to tackle inequality and poverty.
