Edinburgh city council are planning to impose parking control zones across many new areas, with Phase 1 of the roll-out having parking control zones in Gorgie and Gorgie North.
During a public consultation on this plan, 75% of responses in Gorgie were against parking control being imposed. Edinburgh council's Transport and Environment Committee was made aware of this opposition, and still approved the plans to impose parking control.
