The Council has adopted the CIPFA Code of Practice on Treasury Management in the Public Services. The Council operates the Treasury Cash Fund on a low risk low return basis for cash investments on behalf of itself, Lothian Pension Fund and other associated organisations. This Policy Statement covers the type of investments which are permitted for monies held with the Cash Fund.
