To remove stationary training machines from Meadows and Bruntsfield Links. - Petitions (Closed)

Petition details
Meadows and Bruntsfield Link are places where for years people have been doing various disciplines of sports, either without any equipment or bringing their own. Life has been flourishing here in all seasons because it is a big open area with grass and trees, great for walking, making sports as well as having tranquil moments. As of spring 2017, some training machines usually encountered on a gym have been installed on the grassy areas. Not many people use them and they damage the image of the park.
Hereby, it is requested of Edinburgh Council to have these machines removed and replaced with grass like it was.
Main reason: aesthetic concerns, they blemish the look of the park by its black/neon colours and concrete base.
