Donate your unwanted bikes to Brake the Cycle
A scheme has been launched to provide free bikes for the community.
Bikes that are either old or unwanted can be collected by the scheme or donated to the workshops. Please note we are currently not accepting donations at the moment.
The bikes are renovated and then freely given to
- community organisations
- youth groups
- schools.
The scheme involves offenders on community payback orders
- renovating the bikes
- learning new skills
- gaining confidence.
It is a great way of getting offenders involved in giving something back to their communities.
