Royal week

For the ceremonial event taking place on Wednesday 5 July to mark the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla there will be a national service of thanksgiving at St Giles' Cathedral and two processions up and down the Royal Mile.

Parking, loading and deliveries

There will be restrictions on waiting, loading and unloading across the Old Town from 28 June to 7 July.

We advise against parking around the Old Town during this week.

Roads re-opening

All roads will re-open by 6pm on 5 July, except closures in place for the Castle Concerts, as well as St Giles Street and St John Street.
