Environment: 

Based at Gogarburn Business School, Gogar Station Road, this role is essential to deliver exceptional client experiences and maintain operational excellence in event management and service. You will work 20 hours per week on a shift basis between 6:30am - 11pm Monday to Friday. As part of Social Bite’s Jobs First programme, applicants should have a background of homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

What might a day in this role look like?

You will provide a friendly, efficient service by preparing food/beverages, setting up dining or meeting areas, and maintaining high hygiene standards. You will be responsible in handling customer service, cleaning, and sometimes assisting residents or guests directly. Duties often include food service, clearing tables, operating dishwashers, and managing inventory and managing day to day setups and service.

You will receive industry related training. We will be there with you every step to ensure that you are successful in what you do.

What qualifications/skills are required?

The successful candidates will need to have good level of English and be willing to travel to Gogarburn which has good tram links and bus services.
