Free internet and wifi
Library members can use the internet and wifi, scan documents and use Microsoft Office software in all libraries.
Book a library computer
Book a library computer online, selecting a library and time slot up to one week in advance. You can have a one hour booking per day.
You cannot book a computer at Blackhall, Muirhouse or Ratho libraries as this service is not currently available at these locations.
You can also book a computer by contacting a library. Book up to one week in advance. You can have a one hour booking per day. You may be able to book extra time on the day if it is available.
Wifi printing
Send a document for printing at the library from your phone, tablet or computer
- you can print the following file formats doc, docx, pdf, bmp, gif, jpeg, jpg, png, tif and tiff
- there is an upload limit of 150 MB per file
- you'll have 3 hours to pick up the document from a library
- pay on collection of your document.
Currently, documents cannot be collected from Blackhall, Muirhouse or Ratho Libraries.
Computer printouts
Black and white printouts cost 35p per A4 sheet up to 10 sheets.
For 11 or more sheets, the cost is 25p per A4 sheet.
Colour printouts cost 55p per A4 sheet up to 10 sheets.
For 11 or more sheets, the cost is 45p per A4 sheet.
There is no charge for printouts from our website.
