We provide grant funding to third parties to improve social, environmental and economic outcomes for Edinburgh’s citizens and communities.

We are committed to working in partnership with third party organisations, to ensure agreed outcomes and objectives relating to funding are delivered.

How are grants governed

Grant Standing Orders (GSOs) are a set of rules addressing the use, procedures and assessment process for grants. These rules apply (with certain exceptions) to all grants made by, or on behalf of, the Council.

Through the Edinburgh City Libraries Edinburgh 4 Community website you can search for new funding opportunities available to your sector. You can also sign up for email updates.

The Edinburgh Compact

The Edinburgh Compact Partnership can provide up-to-date advice on funding with news of upcoming funding opportunities. Their four key priorities are:
