Road closures and public transport
A section of west Princes Street remains closed between Charlotte Street and Frederick Street to all transport and pedestrians, with public transport including Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Trams affected.
Please plan ahead for journeys as diversions and delays are expected to last into August.
Changes to bus routes
Buses are unable to travel along Princes Street from South Charlotte Street and Frederick Street and are being diverted via George Street and Queen Street. The Mound remains open.

Trams
Trams are running between Edinburgh Airport and Shandwick Place only. They are unable to travel along Princes Street to Leith or Newhaven. Visit Edinburgh Trams for latest tram updates and timetables.
Trains
Trains are running as normal. If you are travelling from the east end of Edinburgh to an event at Murrayfield you may wish to consider taking a train from Waverley Station to Haymarket Station. From there you can hop on a tram or bus to the stadium. Visit Scotrail for train timetables.
