Craigmount High School expansion

We're currently developing plans to extend Craigmount High School. The school currently has capacity for 1,400 pupils and we plan to increase this to 1,800. This project will provide the school with space and facilities to meet increasing demand for places from new housing developments in the local area.

The project proposals include a new building, reconfiguration of some existing spaces and landscaping.  The new extension would be built on the grass field at the east side of the school.

The project is currently in the early development stages, and more information will be published here as the project develops.

If approved, we currently expect the work to be completed by the summer of 2029.
