Themes and strategic objectives
The action plan has two themes:
- Housing Supply
- Demand for Housing
And six strategic objectives:
- Work with partners to increase and improve supply of housing in the city and develop and implement innovative funding solutions.
- Be responsive to the housing market by being flexible and dynamic in approach to tackling the Housing Emergency.
- Work with partners to develop new delivery models of housing in the city.
- Work with partners to make best use of all homes in the city.
- Work with partners to plan for future housing needs.
- Work with partners to develop and implement activity to prevent homelessness in the first place.
