The Wee Hub’s June Programme  

The Wee Hub are offering a range of free activities throughout June.  

  • Raksha’s art and crafts children activity – on Wednesdays from 12pm to 1pm 
  • Crochet and chat with Haifa – on Wednesdays from 12pm to 1pm 
  • Morning activity and reminiscence group – On Thursdays from 11am to 12pm 
  • Squidz fun time with Lola the puppet – Join Lola and her human Mas for stories, songs, games and bubble boogie on Thursday’s from 1pm 
  • Solo Dance Performance – On Fridays from 11.20am to 1pm 
  • Children's art & craft activity – On Fridays from 12pm to 1pm 
  • Children's art and craft activity – On Saturday 6, 12 and 27 of June from 12pm to 1pm

Culture Connect Festival 

Enjoy food, live music performances, football tournaments from teams around the country and a range of family activities run by Passion 4 Fusion on Saturday 27 June from 10am to 6pm at Saughton Park.

Edinburgh climate festival  

A family friendly day filled with free performances, workshops, talks and art installations, all celebrating climate action in our communities. Participate in one of the many wellbeing and climate related activities, enjoy the atmosphere or explore the stalls to meet new projects and organisations working with our communities for a more sustainable future. There will be food stalls and various children’s activities. The festival will be held on Saturday 27 June between 12pm to 7pm at

Unicorn Tails, Nature Trails & Magic Spells at the House of the Binns 

Enjoy meeting some very special unicorns, a whimsical wizard, playing games and a fun filled nature trail. Learn about the peacocks that live on the grounds and the daring Dalyell’s and enjoy outdoor games. Tickets cost £6.00 per child and free for each accompanying adult. The event is on Sunday 28 June from 10am to 2pm at

Family Circus Workshop  

Drop in for free sessions from Think Circus. Designed for families to have fun, be creative and play together on Sunday 28 June from 12pm to 2pm at

Make a train, meet a train 

Join for hands on loco-themed fun. Build your very own coal locomotive using card with easy step by step instructions. Afterwards, visit the two full size locomotives on site. Tickets cost £5 per child and there is a 30p booking fee. The event is running on Tuesday 30 June from 10.30am to 12pm at

Wild Fungi 

Join Mycobee Mushrooms for an engaging talk exploring the fascinating world of wild fungi. You’ll learn to identify common edible and toxic mushrooms, along with essential principles for safe and responsible foraging. This event is for young people aged 14 and above. This event requires online sign up with a minimum donation of £1. The session is on Tuesday 30 June from 1pm to 3pm at
