Our future plans
We have installed over 100 charging points in areas with no off-street parking with funding from the Scottish Government and the UK Government. Funding, however, is reducing and so we, like other councils in Scotland, are now looking to work with commercial partners to continue to install more public charging points in Edinburgh.

This is not a guarantee that we will install charging points in your street, however it will help us to build a list of areas with demand for charging infrastructure. We may not be able to respond to individual requests based on the high volume of emails we receive.
