Petition details
The road only has pavements from no 7 going southwards, passing 9, 11 and 13. From that point there is a small s bend that begins just before no 2 on the right and there are no pavements beyond that point. That means all people walking in that part are forced to walk on the road. We have residents with special needs for walking and families with children in push chairs etc. The view beyond no 13 around the s bend is restricted by the position of no 2. We have placed a sign near there calling for Caution and to reduce speed, but that has had little effect. We are also blessed with our share of Deliver vans/Couriers who always seem to be in a hurry and drive too quickly in the street and present a real safety risk. Therefore we petition the Council to install speed bumps in Laverockdale Park
