Target audience
All staff who will be directly involved with planning, delivering and evaluating excursions. Any member of staff going on excursions with responsibility for safety of the group.
This Group Leader (Theory) Training is mandatory for all Category 3 or Category 4 excursions. It is valid for 3 years and must then be renewed.
Please note: Group Leaders wanting to deliver Category 3 and/or Category 4 excursions must book onto this course (CF2483).
Excursions Coordinators must book onto a different course; the Excursions Coordinator Training Course (CF2488)
