A licence is required to use premises for a film exhibition to the public. This includes screening of recorded films or performances. In addition, where it is intended to organise a film exhibition at premises wholly or mainly for children, you will have to obtain the Council's consent.

What you need to supply

A plan of the premises  - new and temporary applications &
renewal applications, if the premises have been altered in the last 12 months
A certificate relating to the electrical installation of the premises, signed by a qualified electrician together with a ceiling certificate signed by a qualified engineer
