We’re working with EIT Climate-KIC as one of 15 European cities taking part in the healthy, clean cities demonstration projects. This aims to provide an evidence-based approach to where and how cities need to invest and intervene to reach net zero from mobility, waste and energy to health and the build environment.
Work from our Healthy Clean Cities programme will help inform a new sustainability strategy for the city, due for public consultation in Spring 2021. This will set out how the city needs to change to become net zero by 2030 and how we will work with citizens and partners to achieve this.
