See below how your future journeys could look if we change how we move around through the proposals in the City Mobility Plan. They give you a taste of what we want for your future and for everyone in our city.

Alex's future journey

Alex is from the North of Edinburgh. He attends regular medical appointments and can have personal assistance on the driverless hopper bus and take the new tram route to the front door of the Royal Infirmary. He’s no longer worried about missing appointments because of traffic.

Joe's future journey

Joe, who lives in Dunfermline, could take his bike to work instead of driving. He could cycle with his kids to their school, hop on the bike bus, then cycle the rest. He’ll be at work faster and doesn’t have to worry about parking. Better for him and the planet.

Lou's future journey

Lou can sell the car and join the local car club in Leith, just using wheels when going on adventures. To get to work in town, the tram’s quickest and has less emissions.
