Contract: Permanent, Salary: £12.60 per hour (Real Living Wage) increasing to £13.45 per hour by 01/05/26, Closing Date: Saturday 31 January

Environment:
Based in Edinburgh City Centre, this is a fully office-based role with no hybrid option. You will become an integral part of the EWS family, working closely with the Practice Manager to support the wider administration team. The administration team are imbedded with our Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) who are working directly with our clients. Working hours are 9.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday.
What might a day in this role look like?
Daily duties will include:
- providing first point of contact for anyone contacting EWS
- meeting and greeting visitors
- making teas and coffees for clients
- making sure office supplies remain well stocked
- overseeing petty cash
- opening and filing mail
- photocopying, scanning and shredding documents
- managing the Letter of Authority process as they come into the business.
What qualifications/skills are required?
Essential:
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a busy office environment
- Ability to prioritise workload.
Desirable:
- Some experience of Excel and/or basic CRM (Database) management experience
- Financial services experience.
