Painter and Decorator - The City of Edinburgh Council - 18436
Contract: Permanent, Salary: £28,046 - £32,010, Closing Date: 8 August.
We are looking for experienced painters & decorators to join our Housing Services team. You will be part of a team of cross trade operatives who are responsible for carrying out repairs in Council tenant's homes and repairing and maintaining our empty homes to a high standard for our new tenants.
The Housing Services team manages over 20,000 homes across Edinburgh. We are looking for qualified painter and decorators who have great customer care and communication skills and will thrive at the opportunity to help our tenants.
What qualifications/skills are required?
To be considered for the post you must:
- Have painting & decorating experience.
- A high level of health and safety awareness.
- Able to work outdoors and at heights.
- A good communicator with good customer care skills.
- A full clean UK driving licence.
