Recycling Service Operative (Collection Driver) - Change Waste Recycling - 18426
Contract: Permanent, Salary: £26,208 per annum, Closing Date: This position will close when a suitable candidate is found.

Change Waste Recycling deliver exceptional and needs-based bespoke solutions for our customers across Edinburgh and Glasgow, whilst providing a distinctive, consultative national service for larger, more complex organisations.
Environment:
By driving and delivering the service, you will complete around 80 collections a day. A good geographical knowledge of the city will be beneficial, and you will require the ability to use mobile technology. The basic hours of work are 40 hours per week; however, due to the nature of the position a flexible approach and some additional weekend work will be required.
What might a day in this role look like?
You will be provided with a van and will be responsible for completing collections for customers within the city centre. This is a customer facing role and you will get to know their locations and the best times to complete collections. You will have to enter our customer offices, hotels, restaurants or similar sites and bring the recycling and waste materials out to your vehicle. Multi-drop delivery / collection experience is therefore advantageous.

What qualifications/skills are required?
- HGV Class 2 desirable
- Excellent verbal communication
- Structured organisational and time management and skills
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
- Ability to take decisions when appropriate and work in an unsupervised manner.
