Request a collection of household bulky waste items

If you have large items at home that you no longer need and are still in good condition, you can have them collected by an organisation listed on Scotland's Re-use Tool.

Donate your items

Items will be collected by a local organisation and re-used.

Before you book

The service is very busy just now, and the waiting time is around one month. If you can, please book a visit to a household waste recycling centre instead.

There is a charge for each individual item uplifted. Up to 5 items will be collected per uplift.

If you or a member of your household have Coronavirus symptoms, you should not book an uplift. If you have already booked an appointment, please cancel your booking and re-book once you are fit and well again.

Putting your items out for an uplift

All items must be on the pavement in front of the property by 7am on the day of collection. Waste must not be presented at any other time. Only items specified at the time of booking will be collected.
