Learning for users of mental health services

Outlook

Outlook

Outlook offers individual guidance, information and educational support. We enable people who access mental health services to take up a variety of opportunities.

We offer short, free and beginner level courses in a range of subjects throughout the year, offering an informal way to try new subjects in small groups.

Referral criteria

Outlook is open to adults accessing mental health services and living in Edinburgh.

You must be

  • aware Outlook is an education service and a voluntary option
  • able to take part in a group within an educational environment.

You can refer yourself or be referred through an agency.

Adult education in Outlook has not just increased my skills and knowledge but has given me a purpose in life and a sense of my own worth.
